Little Beauties Island Planter is the smallest of the island planters and can be used in very small container gardens and bird baths.

It's a great way to add plant life to your small water garden. Constructed of durable UV and water resistant polyethlene foam, comes with polyethlene liner pot and is the easiest way to grow aquatic and moisture loving plants.
Creeper Island Planter's larger size and unique floating design make this an ideal planting solution for your pond or watergarden’s needs.

Larger plants will benefit from having their roots free to oxygenate and absorb nutrients, while your goldfish, koi and other organisms will appreciate the added cover floating plants provide
Combine a variety of plants right on the surface of your water with this awesome group planter, the Sundial Island Planter'.

Special floating design allows roots to hang free, increasing oxygenation and providing exceptional cover for your pond or watergarden’s goldfish, koi and other organisms.
Floating Island Planters
Floating Islands offer a natural and unique way to restore, improve, and protect the health of your pond or waterway.

The presence of excess nutrients in the water is a leading cause of pond degradation. These nutrients, typically nitrogen- and phosphorus-based compounds, can come from a variety of sources and processes, like animal waste & dead plant debris.

Plants use nutrients such as nitrates and phosphates to grow, but when there are too many nutrients in the water; plants - and other organisms including algae - grow unsustainably.
Excess plant and algae growth can keep sunlight from penetrating the water, causing sub-surface plants and other organisms to die. Certain bacteria and fungi get to work decomposing those dead organisms, using up the available oxygen supply in the process. The scummy, unlovely result is called "eutrophication."

A floating Island with plant life will keep nutrients from building up. Because the plant roots in a floating island are in direct contact with the water, they are constantly extracting nutrients - so not only are they helping clean the water, they are also thriving in the process.
